A Very Long Post

Hi! There are so many things that happened in the course of two days, including... Well, you'll see. The post is so long I'm splitting it into sections. Have fun!

OP Attacks M

Megatron and Optimus!

Stab! Stab! Ow!

Ow...

Yes it finally happened! We rendered OP stabbing M with his sword and pushing back so that Megatron would fall down.

OMG! Epic! He looks up!

Megatron looks up to see Jazz coming own on him.

Very epic indeed.

Jazz in the Dundundun Sequence!

You know the sequence in the beginning where it goes dundundundundundun and it shows all the Autobots? Of course you don't, we never showed it to you. But anyway its there and we added Jazz to the last time it does the dundundundundun thing. Confused? Heres the dundundundundun sequence:

We Modeled Blackout!

So we modeled Blackout. Unfortunately, we can't put him in the music video, because there is no room.

Oh, wait, scratch that last bit. We do have room for a special sneak peek at the end! Whew.

Even though Blackout is barely in our video yet, he still gets his own wallpapers, so go check 'em out!

Optimus Faces Off!!!

Megatron OP and Jazz

Today we rendered a scene where Optimus puts out his cybersword!

Also, we realized that we could fit more clips in then we thought previously, so it will take a little longer to get to the titles.

Whew! What a Clip!

Aghhhhh!! (The filmmaker's nightmare)

Doing a shot like the one done for this particular trick requires lots of patience.

Each frame had to be individually merged with the exact frame for the other clip, so as to get BB and Ironhide both in the same shot with Megatron and the city. It wasn't fun, but we managed to do it.

Because we are so exhausted, we were thinking about taking a short break, but no-can-do, unfortunately.

We just have got to start right away on the OP, Jazz and Megatron clip.

But, because you have read a lot of posts, done a lot of polls, subscribed, (well, maybe not), we are going to give you a great new video, showing our amazing job on this clip and some other clips too...

Oh and, what the heck was that on our last poll??? 

What kind of an answer is "I Like Cheese"!?

Our First FX Clip!

Why are we doing an effects shot? Because our computer doesn't have enough memory for BB, Megatron, Ironhide, and the entire city set at the same time. This requires some screen magic. Merging a clip with Megatron kicking Ironhide, and then the air, with a clip of Megatron kicking the air, and then kicking Bumblebee, we managed to make two shots for one shot, blending the two seamlessly with a matte. 

Slight drawback: The software we are using to matte the two doesn't exactly have HD. Uh-oh. Coming soon is another sneak peek, this time of the clip we are currently matting. See for yourselves the only FX clip in the Music Video!

Also, we are thinking about putting our finished video on both YouTube™ and Vimeo. Do you like that idea? Vote, on our new poll!

Sneak Peek Number 2!

New sneak peek! Huzzah! This time it's the Autobots being beaten by Demolisher.

The reason we didn't show you this before is that there really isn't much we can show you without giving all the cool parts away. So this will have to do for now.

Most recently we did a few renders involving Megatron, Jazz, and Optimus for the ending. There's going to be an awesome battle at the end between them! Everything is going smooth as silk as far as getting the music video done. Until then, heres a short preview, showing Demolisher's demise and Megatron...
